Challenge

We decided to look further into the issues surrounding localism in surfing. Localsim, when practiced respectfully can create order. However, we choose to tackle the negative aspects that occur when 'locals' abuse their status and use intimidation as a means of making 'non-locals' unwelcome

Solution

Using a humorous approach as a means of attaching a stigma to the negative behaviour demonstrated by those who abuse their 'local status'.
